12 Weeks

I can hardly believe we're already 12 weeks along this exciting journey!!  It seems like just yesterday that I was feeling super tired, cranky and wondering what in the world was wrong with me!  Then I took the test that would change my life forever...

What an exciting and memorable moment.  :)  Now we're nearly 3 whole months in and could not be more excited!  

Here's our sweet baby at our 6 week ultrasound:

We're going to start tracking the weeks and months ahead with pictures of my belly, mile-markers of the baby's size, and a few thoughts and feelings as we go through this thrilling, life-changing journey.

Today was another healthy check-up at the doctor.  I got to hear that healthy heart thump away...no words can describe.  ;)

How far along? 12 weeks

Maternity clothes?  Some have been purchased (thanks to the BEST mom and mother-in-law in the world!)...but haven't worn them yet.  :)
Stretch marks?  Nope.
Sleep: Pretty solid except for the 3 times I get up to use the restroom during the night!
Best moment this week: Going to the doctor and hearing that sweet heartbeat!!!
Miss Anything?  Hmmm...wine and sushi?  ;)
Movement:  I think I'm feeling little twitches, but it's hard to determine if it's the baby or indigestion.
Food cravings: Anything dairy...TCBY, Menchie's, Baskin Robins...if it's ice cream or yogurt I'm in!  Also...chicken wings!!  :)
Anything making you queasy or sick: Fish, which I used to love!  That's been consistent through the first trimester, but it's starting to get better and my healthy appetite is starting to come back.  :)
Have you started to show yet:  Perhaps a little...
Gender prediction:  My gut is saying boy...only because that's what everyone else seems to think.  ;)
Belly Button in or out?  In
Wedding rings on or off?  On
Happy or Moody most of the time:  Happy!!
Looking forward to:  Finding out if it's a boy or girl so the shopping can finally begin!!  =)
